Elise et les iles de la Polynésie

Hello, Ia orana 🙂

My name is ELISE. I am French and I am 45-year-old.

I have a passion for French Polynesia.

I decided to devote this blog to my travels to the Polynesian Islands.

I already went to French Polynesia twice:

  • First trip in October 2010 (for 3 weeks), with a small group of hikers. We visited Tahiti, Bora-Bora, Maupiti, Moorea (in the Society archipelago) and Nuku Hiva, Hiva Oa (in the Marquesas)
  • Second trip in February/March 2011 (for 7 weeks), during which I traveled alone and visited all the archipelagos of Polynesia (except the Marquesas): the Gambier (Mangareva mainly, and also Taravai, Aukena, Akamaru and Meikiro), the Austral (Tupuai and Rurutu), the Tuamotu (Rangiroa, Tikehau, Manihi and Fakarava) and the Society Islands (Tahiti, Huahine, Tahaa and Raiatea).

  1. Aloha Elise – thank you for a great post on Tiare Gardenia from Tahiti. We are an aromatherapy company in Hawaii and have just started working with the Tiare Gardenia Essential Oil from Tahiti. It was nice to learn more about it.
